Hot air balloons, carnival rides, and night glows galore. This morning at 5:30 am, the Tigard Hot Air Balloon Festival officially launched. Due to the weather, free balloon flight was not possible. However, we had a few pilots stand up their hot air balloons for spectators and the media. The weather looks great for Saturday and Sunday.
If you are looking for a fun family activity, a unique date, or you are obsessed with aeronautics, you should consider coming to an early morning launch or a balloon glow at sunset (approximately 8:00 pm - 9:00pm). Here is a link to the [offical schedule](http://www.tigardballoon.org/#day-one).

If you are not in the Portland area, you can still take part in the festival by joining our [facebook live stream](https://www.facebook.com/Seattleballooning/videos) of the balloon glow this evening at sunset. Tomorrow morning at 5:45 am we will stream our inflation and part of our hot air balloon flight. We look forward to having you join us on our hot air balloon adventures this weekend.
